Haj Muhammad's endowments
The first item includes four documents attached to each other: In the first one, dated June 15, 1832, Haj Muhammad, known as Haj Aqa Buzurg Sahib, the son of Fazl Allah Sultan, endows a house and five shops to Ta‘ziyah performers, assigns his children as the guardians, and names Mirza Abu Talib (who has since passed away) as the overseer. Jamilah Khanum, the daughter of Husaynquli Khan, has endowed a school and a mosque she had built to the south of her own house and has appointed Qamar Taj Khanum, the daughter of Riza Quli Khan Fakhim al-Dawlah as the custodian. Qamar Taj Khanum will be responsible for assigning the prayer Imam and hiring the tutors, servants, and students, whose salaries, along with the other costs of the school and the mosque, will be derived from the revenue of some properties in the village of Suharin in Zanjan Rud district. Mashhadi Habib's will, 1921
Mashhadi Habib, the son of the late Husayn ‘Amu, appoints his younger brother, Ni‘mat, as the executor of his will and Karbalayi ‘Askar, the son of ‘Ali Pasha, as the overseer while he [Mashhadi Habib] travels to Karbalaʼ. They are responsible for giving ten mans [unit of area] of his share of a garden to his wife, Munavvar, as her mahr. A third of his belongings should be in Ni‘mat's hands for use on khums, the payment of his debts, ta‘ziyah, and charity.

Mirza Muhammad Husayn Mustawfi Hiravi's endowment for his wife's soul, 1887
Aqa Mirza Muhammad Husayn Mustawfi Hiravi endowed his four shares of the Saʻdabad farm in Sarjam village for taʻziyah of Imam Husayn and prayer for the soul of the mother of Mirza Masʻud Khan. After the death of the endower who will act as guardian of the endowment, the eldest male child and their male descendants shall act as the endowment's guardians. If there are no male offspring, the eldest female child and their descendants shall act as the endowment's guardians. 22 March 1887.
